Operation Endgame was a global action carried out by international law-enforcement agencies. The mission was aimed at disrupting three major cyber-crime operations: Rhadamanthys, VenomRAT and Elysium. These tools were responsible for large-scale data theft and remote attacks. The operation became one of the biggest coordinated cyber crackdowns.

Authorities successfully took down 1,025 servers used to run these malware operations. They also seized 20 domains that supported the criminals’ infrastructure. A major suspect connected to VenomRAT was arrested in Greece. The takedown directly hit the core systems used by attackers worldwide.
Rhadamanthys was an infostealer that collected browser data, passwords and crypto-wallet information. Investigators found the operator had access to more than 100,000 cryptocurrency wallets. These wallets belonged to victims who were unaware of the theft. The stolen data could have been worth millions.

Elysium acted as a botnet and proxy service that helped criminals hide their activities. It also allowed other malware to spread quickly and remain undetected. VenomRAT enabled attackers to fully control infected computers remotely. Together, these tools created a powerful cyber-crime ecosystem.
Investigators believe that hundreds of thousands of computers were infected across the world. Millions of stolen credentials were discovered during the operation. Many victims had no idea their information had been compromised. The results show how deeply these malware networks had spread.

Operation Endgame involved agencies from several countries, including Germany, Greece and the Netherlands. The United States, Canada, Australia, Denmark and France also contributed. Private cybersecurity firms provided intelligence and technical support. Their combined efforts made the large-scale disruption possible.
Authorities are advising people and organisations to check if their data was exposed. Running full malware scans and updating passwords is strongly recommended. Enabling two-factor authentication can also reduce future risks. Crypto-wallet users are urged to review their transaction history.
While this operation is a major success, cyber-criminals will continue to evolve. The takedown shows that powerful malware networks can still be dismantled. It also proves that global cooperation is essential in fighting cyber-crime. The action brings hope for safer digital spaces but ongoing awareness remains important.
